Brahms String Quartets and Piano Quintet Op. 34

After having performed these milestones in the quartet literature in cities throughout the world, Cuarteto Casals recorded the complete cycle of Brahms string quartets in the Spring and Summer of 2007. Joined by Claudio Marínez Mehner, brother of violinist Vera Martínez Mehner, the quartet completed its first recording of Brahms chamber music with the Piano Quintet Op. 34.
