Cuarteto Casals Invited to Work with György Kurtag in Budapest
In preparation for its upcoming Harmonia Mundi recording of Hungarian works including Bartok 4th Quartet, Ligeti 1st and Kurtag Mikroludien, Cuarteto Casals will continue its studies with the Kurtags this June in Budapest. The course, sponsored by the Central European University of Budapest will mark the sixth time the quartet has worked with the Kurtags, after previous encounters in Fiesole, Bordeaux and New York.
